So last nigth I recieved a text from my nephew, Andrew. He said a there was a tornado near or around the local Air Force Base. I thougt it was an exagerated rumor or something. You know how those things are. I didn't give it much thought, but this morning Robbie shows me this....
found on a friendsblog. Whoa, you see the not one, but TWO funnel clouds!? After seeing that I go and watch this...
Dude! Duuude...do I need to build a basement?!
We went and saw Prince Caspian yesterday afternoon. Great Movie! I have to say my favorite part is when Aslan finally makes his apperance. He's this massive, mighty lion and when he comes on scene and roars, I don't know...it gave me goosebumps. You definatly need to go see it.
Today we are headed to my brother's house later this afternoon, for some BBQ and swimming. His backyard is themed after Pirates of the Carribean. Pretty cool. Looking forward to that.
Have a great Sunday!
The Riverside Blues Club did a fantastic job last night! They sounded great!! Here are a few pics from the night....
The stage, still setting up...
Show time...

Check out the banner! We're really a band now!!
Matt, THE man!! He makes us sound amazing. He owns CTE, a production company. The dude has skills. We are so blessed to have such talented friends!
It was a big night for McKenzie too. She blew her first bubble. You'd a thought she had won a million dollars, the girl was so excited.
Check the bands website for the next gig. Link is over to the right...
Happy Saturday!

Wrong! They are just getting started....
"I'm comin' Haybs!!"
"Got 'em!"
"Ahhh NUTS!"
"Uhhh Mom, can you put the camera down and help me out here?!!"
"We did it! Victory!!"
Yeah, well even victory has it's price...
and I just keep asking myself...why do I even make the bed??
Long time, no post....wow it has been a while hasn't it? I just have not felt like blogging lately. Everytime I would go to sit and post...blank. No idea on what to post, so I just waited until I felt like blogging again. I think the dry spell may be over...I hope. This has become sort of a scrapbook for me, and I am sorely behind.
I know I said I would have a blog update to cover the happenings from March, but seeing that we are half way through April...I think I will just skip it and move along....
Do you ever find your self in this conflict? You see someone you care about in a downward spiral and are not sure how you can help. You are dying to offer something...but are afraid of crossing the line. Sometimes it is easier to see the whole picture if you are not in it. I am standing here in front of this picture. It's killing me. I want to offer something, but should I? It is so risky. Do I even have the right? I have known these people forever, we have grown together in so many ways...does that give me the right? I want to do something, anything, but I digress...
NOKTB is back!
Look! Joey is all grown up now! I can remember watching these guys from my friends house the day they were on Oprah. It was a big day. All my friends were there, anticipating the moment. We were elated and giddy. Ahh, the days of my youth. My favorite was Donny, and my favorite song was "I'll be loving you". I used to listen to that song and day dream about the love of my life. I of course had no idea who he was at the time, but that is what day dreaming is all about, right? Is it weird that I am a little excited over their come back?
Seriously? 15 years ago? Has it really been that long?
Alright, I am pumping up the you tube to listen to my favorite song while I fold my laundry!! Oh and I don't have to day dream anymore! The love of my life is in the next room!! :)
Have a great day!!
